Another enquiry but Im not holding my breath!

Hi all,

Just had another enquiry.

All was going fine until he realised I had cats

He has a 1 year old girl that needs care part time for now and then full time from March.

He is worried that his daughter could be allergic to cats, even though she has never been exposed to them. I suggested that they came for a visit and then we would get more of an idea.

He is going to speak to his wife and (hopefully) call me back.

Thats great, i have a school age child who has asthma they knew i had 2 cats they were fine about it but i do keep them out or upstairs when he's here.

Hi Debbie

Is your cat short or long haired? Only I have two cats (1 of which) & only my long haired cat has ever caused irritation to some suffers.

You never know the visit may go really well & the little'un may even love your cat

It might still work out for you,

I've got 2 cats, and had a mum that was allergic to cats but the baby was fine

All my cats are short haired. DH and DD1 are both asthmatic but dont have reactions to them.

The thing is, they dont know that baby is allergic to cats. There is no istory of it in the family either, I think they are just being protective which is fine but if you dont try you will never know!

Will just have to wait and see if they contact me again.
