    think i am posting in wrong place but here goes. can any1 tell me how to get my pc to allow me to open other peoples files, it lets me start downloading then comes up with a msg say could not open, may be corupt, then i get microsoft works page open but blank.

    it is driving me mad

    i cant download anything but pdf, and there are so many helpful links on here and i cant get them

    please if you know why can you tell me

    I have the same problem. can't 'open' files, just get a blank works page.

    I can however 'save' the files, then open them via downloads.

    Try that maybe.

    no even when i 'save' insted of 'open' it still sayin could be corrupted.

    will check with hubby if i have adobe
