I recieved my NCMA toolkit box today!! And rang CRB both mine and DH's crbs are on stage 4.. My insurance starts on 16th sept. I hope i can start soon. I am so excited!! I wanna advertise!!!

Fantastic. At least you can get to know your toolkit before you start. Unfortunately Stage 4 (in my case & I was advised by CRB) is the longest stage as this is where the check is sent out to your police force/s. So it is all dependant on how much backlog your force/s have. There are many threads all about stage 4 and time taken.
The good news is that once the checks are back from the police it is just a case of your crb checks being printed and posted. You will probably receive yours before or at the same time as Ofsted but once you have it chase Ofsted to make sure they have their copy. Then Ofsted will assess your application and if all is ok approve it and get your certificate sent out usually within a week.
