    Default Exclusion periods

    Hi all -
What are these for chicken pox and hand foot and mouth.
Is there anywhere we can formally get this info from?

hi, with chicken pox you are still contagious until last spot has dried out so I would exclude until then .
With hand foot and mouth they say there is no need to excluded but personal feel child is still I'll so would not want to care for them .

Same here, governing bodies:- nhs, .gov.uk can recommend, however it's your call, you have to be happy with your policies and procedures. And I would exclude I felt that the child was contagious and could effect others or too ill to be with me, for example - hand foot and mouth.
