    Default Pacey weekly attendance record

    Morning all
I wonder if anyone can help me because I am not sure if I am recording this right.
My mindee is due at 8am, arrives at 8.10am. Mum signs her in at 8.10am. In the column along 'number of hours' should I put 1 hour (thats what I get paid for) or should I put 50 mins ( thats till 9am when school bell goes) Although child actually goes in about 8.55am. Confused

I put the time down that they leave my care so 8:55 but i would be interested in hearing if this is correct. I also do pick up and put the time they come out. Hope this is right too!

It's the times between which the child is with you. Ofsted are not concerned with how much you get paid only that the register tells them when the child was with you

I literally record arrival time as the minute I open the door and departure as the minute I close the door after they've been picked up.....hope this is right :-S

Thank you, so I should put 45 mins then if child arrives 8.10 (10 mins late) and goes into school early at 8.55am instead of 9am
So what about if a parent picks up at normal time of 4pm but doesn't leave till 4.10pm because we have been talking, do I put 4pm or 4.10pm?

I would probably put 4pm as that's what time the parent got there to take the LO into their care.

I don't bother wasting my time filling out how long they were with me - I just write the actual arrival and departure times, in the number of hours column I write L for lunch & T for tea (helps me remember for my expenses and receipts)- seems a shame to waste the column - my parents pay for the hours they are contracted for rather than used - mine are all really good and are never late so I don't need to charge them extra hours.
