    Default Can I do this?

I've just had a mum text to see if I can have LO (6m) extra this week on Wednesday from 12-4:30 (he normally does full day Thursday & Friday). On that day I already have in LO 2y, LO 23m & my own daughter 10m. Can I do this as a one off as it will not only mean I have 4 under 5 for 4 hours but also 2 under 1 or am I better off explaining I can't do it as my assistant is not in that day?

    Thanks.

    Kirsty xx

Yeap- as long as you don't go over 6 kids in total and you already have the child on your books x

Yes you can do this as a variation - continuity of care - however you still need to risk assess, make sure you can manage on your own and it not impact on the care of those children who are contracted to attend that day - I do a simple letter to contracted parents explaining the situation and explaining how I will cope ie: equipment etc - I guess you could stagger naps to make things easier for you - only you know the children and whether that particular combination will work!

I thought you could never have two under 12 months together.
