Anyone heard of Step Up?

I have had a letter from a company called Set Up this morning and they are based in a 01992 phone area. They are offering NVQ training in Childcare Level 2 and 3 FREE but I thought all NVQ's had gone in childcare.

Just wondered if anyone else had received this too.

NVQs are no longer valid in any sector including childcare therefore no training provider should be offering them as the exam board will not issue a certificate for them. NVQs have been replaced by QCF :-)

There not valid?? I've got an nvq3 and my do said I was fine for eyee funding with it? Is this correct?!

Any level 3 attained is still a qualification and accepted but no more nvq's are being done now

That is what I thought - glad I am not going mad!
