I have a little boy whos into throwing things at the minute...loves to be at the river throwing stones in but we cant go there every day as its quite a distance...I thought i would encourage this (safely) by putting a net in the corner of the garden for him to throw plastic balls into....I've looked on e bay but all I can see is fishing nets....does anyone have something similar and would like to share where they got it from please xxx
Try adding to activity by using different containers like washing basket, buckets, toy tubs, boxes, baby bath, mixing bowl etc, plus you could put out different coloured containers to correspond with the colours of the balls
I used a voile piece of material out of the dressing up box tied to the tree. The children threw the balls in then pushed under the net or used a bat to get them out again
The garden is a nightmare Charlotte. Built on land that used to be a large pond and filled with rubble and stones. There's about an inch of soil under the grass the rest is stone, nothing will grow hence all the toys lol
How about the buckets that are in every supermarket at the moment? I used to use them in the playroom so had several. Now I put them in a pattern and give points depending on which bucket x
