Default 15 month old throwing everything

Can never seem to just put something down! Everything chucked off high chair or across room and this week sand everywhere ., don't want him to miss the fun but I am worried he will get it in someone's way. Not sure if it is an obsession or just chancing his luck, I have tried removing with a stern no. Grr!!

    Hi !!!

Do you know anything about schema's? (Not sure if thats splet right)

There are certain skills that children have built into them that they have to practice as part of their development. Throwing is one of them.

It is soooo fruatrating but the way i have found is by giving them a bag or 'soft' things they are allowed to throw. If they start i say 'we throw the soft toys' and get the toys they are allowed to throw.

I have one at tbe minute but it does help!!

Have a read up on them. I find it facinating!! Good luck z

I was going to suggest looking into schemas and how to deal with them appropriately...there was a website I found AGES ago which I thought was good...give me a min and I'll see if I can link to it.

Like the second link Sam...I think I need to make a file of schemas just for referring back to when needed!
