I know this is sad. Have not had a two week holiday for 11 years and will be going away ( only brean ) on Sat 25 cannot wait and counting the days for 2 weeks quality time with own two boys and no mindees which does not happen often.
I still get up very early. I love walking the dog on the beach at 6 am as the sun rises and We walk a good 3 mile with fleece jacket and a pocket full of nappy sacks and sugar running in and out of the sea!!!

I have between Christmas and new year off but don't go away and have just the one week away so 2 weeks away seems really long because all my mindees are either term time only or school holidays only they are only effected for one week.

Life is too short to put it on hold for mindees. New rule to oneself ..... always have two weeks off together with my family at least once a year....done
