If anyone wanted to see this is a picture of our puppy, he is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Rocky (I am a Sylvester Stallone Fan)
All parents are happy with the new addition to our family. I have a pet policy in place etc but was wondering if anyone has a permission form for having a pet. If so what sort of things did you put? I want to do one that just says I know my childminder has a dog and I have read and understood her pet policy. Will that be enough?
It is not on my parental permission form that I have a dog. When parents first phone/email I tell them about her & they meet her when they visit - she is part of my setting and I don't see permission as a necessary requirement. Ofsted were ok with it.
Lots of fun, naughtiness and simply gorgeous- enjoy.
I don't have a permission for it they know about him (we had an old boy before- dog not bloke ) and they know up front. If you have a policy it should be fine.
I don't have permissions for pets either. I just have a risk assessment in place for pets. Which covers things like making sure they are wormed and have the neccessary innoculations and health checks, also that I check the garden for poop, and that the children wash their hands when they have finished playing in the garden or after touching the pets.
