Mandatory childcare fee?

Does anyone have any idea what maximum fee is going to be set by Eliza truss if she is going to raise the ratio and oblige us to lower our fees? Anyone read anything?

I've read a few people say they can't make us lower our fees, but then a higher ratio at the same cost doesn't benefit the parents. So I'm still confused

I haven't read anything about the fees yet but there are conflicting reports about costs - some say that raising the number of children that can be cared for will cut fees but others say the Govt want a more qualified workforce and to raise wages to attract more to the workforce. I can't see how you can have both.

At least it is now confirmed that our ratios are not being increased. So our fees can stay as they are and eventually we can say that our ratios may be better for some children compared to the new higher ratios for nurseries.
