    Default lo leaving

    Morning all just a quick question, one of my little ones is leaving on Wednesday what paperwork do I give to parents, what do I do with contract and consent forms do I need to tell Ofsted and do any of you buy them a gift when they leave :-) x

    You need to keep all paperwork relative to the child till said child reaches 21yrs and 6 months of age - in case of a claim being made against you long after the child has left.

    Parents are given the child's learning journey/scrapbook/pictures you still have (I'd put them on a cd for them)

    You don't need to tell ofsted as far as I'm aware

    and yes, I'd buy a leaving present suitable for their age and development, probably a book or a toy that I know they love playing with whilst they've been here.
