    Default HELP WITH SEF PLEASE

I have been trying to download the SEF (Word document) from the Ofsted website so I can work on it on my computer but I can't download it because I have Open Office and not word installed. I am a bit confused because normally I can download word documents with no problem. Has anyone got a blank copy they wouldn't mind sharing so I can get on and do my SEF?

    Many thanks.

Have you considered doing the sef online rather than downloading the form? Nothing wrong with downloading the sheet but you won't need word or open office to do it online and Ofsted can access it from their website when you submit it.

Thanks Rick. I will get round to doing it online but prefer to do a copy on my computer so I can print it out and then just add sticky notes to it to remind me when I need to update it. Plus, I don't trust Ofsted not to lose it! So if I fill out a copy and keep it on my computer, should anything happen I can then just copy and paste information into the online one.

Good idea. I also copied and pasted into Word just in case!

There's a copy in free resources at the top of the forum - there are only a very few questions so you should be able to type them out.

I always keep them my SEF on my computer too - I don't trust the Ofsted site or me if I'm in a rush and pressing the wrong buttons
