    Default moving house

    Morning Ladies

I am currently childminding in South Lanarkshire and we are moving house in the New year. Only 5 mins drive away, but I just wanted to ask if anyone knew how long it would take for my new house to be passed and I can be up and running again.

    Thanks

You need to inform Ofsted of your new address and they will send a new certificate. Do a new risk assessment of the new house and email it to them to cover yourself. They are unlikely to reinspect unless you are overdue anyway

Debo is in Scotland (SCSWIS) so the rules may be different. I am not sure but I am sure someone in Scotland will be along soon to answer your question.

I am in Scotland but haven't moved since registering so unsure if the procedure. I do remember reading at one point that CI had to come out and inspect new house when moving but don't think if this is still current practice x

    Many thanks for your replies.
I have just had my questionnaires through, so an inspection will soon, so I will ask the inspection when she comes out.
Dreading the inspection, as it is the first once since my registration. eekkkkk

Good luck with your inspection, my first one was last year and was nothing like I thought. Inspector was really nice so hope yours is too! X
