    Might be different down south but in Scotland u can apply for variation to increase numbers for existing business

    You don't have to apply to Ofsted now instead you "grant" yourself a variation using the strict criteria laid out in the Stat Guidance - it can only be for certain situations eg: baby sibling of existing mindee, or if you have new baby or if an existing parent needs an extra day or to change days - other than a new baby sibling starting, it can never be for new business - have a search through the previous posts on variations.

    Sorry just realised you are in Scotland - not sure what the rules are there - hope someone from Scotland posts soon to help you out.
