    Default Contract

A parent has asked to review contract which runs out in a few weeks but she wants to finish contract end of September. Is the best thing to do is review the contract for another 6 months and then get the parent to give the 4 weeks notice when she knows the date she is finishing .

That sounds like a safe enough way of doing it. If you know the contract will be terminated September, make sure you make the notice arrangements clear. You might take this opportunity to build in some safeguards to make sure you get the payments all in order without having to chase arrears after the client finishes with you.
