    Default Risk Assessment Question

    Hi all,

    A snowy Monday - booooooo!

Just a quick question. Im making my risk assessments look totally super duper today - thats the plan anyway! Do any of you have COSSH Risk Assessments?

I have Sarah's ebook and she has information on them. I just wondered how many of you use them.

    Thanks people

We don't need Cossh records and we are not usually trained to carry them out they are complex documents to complete. I don't know of any LA that has ever done training on how to write a Cossh assessment.

No I don't do them - I woyuld say (as with all risk assessments) only do if you have identified a reason for doing them - that will either keep the children safe or be of benefit to yourself in running your business.

If you think you need them - do them. Otherwise don't as it is not requirement of EYFS
