    Question Risk assesment

    Good evening gang,

This is turning into an addiction , I just feel the need to start a new thread everyday!

I am trying to do my risk assesment and am doing it room by room. I just wanted to know if I should put down laminate flooring as a potential risk (kids running and slipping on floor).

I am doing a "parents to provide" page in with all my paperwork and have asked for slippers for children who are walking as this will help stop them slipping all over the place.

Also should I put doors as a risk (trapped fingers in door) and what about sharp corners on furniture. There seems to be risks everywhere!

Also for those of you who have done risk assesments for other places eg park, what sort of things do you put and what do you leave out. I could write 10 pages of risks at my local parks!!

Sorry this was such a long question and congrats if you got this far

I do this too but parents don't send them! At least I can say I've tried!

It's a minefield of risk... yes and yes.

Also for those of you who have done risk assesments for other places eg park, what sort of things do you put and what do you leave out. I could write 10 pages of risks at my local parks!!

If you feel 10 pages is fair, then go with it! Put everything you can think of and come back to it and add stuff if you think of more... if there is an accident with something that isn't risk assessed, get right out there and do it again!

Sorry this was such a long question and congrats if you got this far
