    Default Risk assessments / checklist

    Hi

    Me again.

Can I just ask how often you do a risk assessment I have already posted on here regarding this topic but wanted a fresh page to explain things slightly different now I have all my RA in place.

    How often??????

    RA cleaning schedule - daily
RA general house checklist - (stair gate closed/ hallway cleared of hazards/wipes, soap, towels out etc) - All daily

RA for house - every month
RA for garden - every month

RA outing - (as and when required)
RA outing in car (as and when required)
RA outing by publis transport (as and when required)
RA craft activities (as and when - usually daily..)

RA to playgroups & childminding groups - reviewd every 3 months
RA for school runs - reviewed every 3 months
RA for walk to ducks - reviewed every 3 months
RA to local park - reviewed every 3 months
**the above will be amended within this time should anything alter**

I know I have info on this but wanted to make sure the above is ok and to see if anyone has any suggestions..

Blimey look at the time.. off to bed head is spinning..will I ever get organised. Think once everything is in place things will get easier..: off to buy more folders tomorrow.....

    Any replies v much appreciated..

Outings risk assessments can be reviewed a lot more than 3 monthly.

For example, if you go out and they are digging up the path, you would make a note... if you are on the school run and a set of temporary traffic lights appear, write it down.

That way you are showing that you are risk assessing as you go, rather than just saying you look through a piece of paper every 3 months.
