    Default south gloucestershire risk assessments

I have been really struggling with my risk assessments and thanks to wellybelly's thread i found south gloucestershires a great example to work with. however when i have saved them they are in PDF form which means i can not change them.

Its probably me being really stupid but how can i adapt to make my own?

    TIA

I don't see why you can't adapt it to say what you want it to

Unfortunately I'm from South Glos. and I haven't found away to change them on the computer! I've just printed the forms off and then hand written them to fit the situation i.e. outings etc. Like yourself if you or anyone else finds a solution i'd definitely be interested (:

You can adapt them. But I've always found them very comprehensive

How do you adapt them. I dont really want to print them out to do this. I dont mind filling out the actual form myself (handwritten). Although i feel they have covered most things on there, there will be some things i need to add also even just the boxes that say 'other' i would want to delete them so they were blank.

Any help on how people adapted them would be great

When documents are released in .pdf format it is done to prevent wholesale copy and pasting by users and to protect the copyright of the writer.

The documents are not meant to be put through software to change the format - they have been written as guides to how (in this case) risk assessments might be written.

The copy protection ensures childminders use the documents as guides and alter them to suit their own ways of working rather than simply copy and paste information.

    I hope this explains

sorry about that. Thats fair enough however the only reason i wanted to change document was so i can adapt it to my own setting i just wanted to use theirs as a guildline so i didnt have to make a table ect from scratch and thought it would look more professional if typed rather than hand written.

Will make sure i dont do again
