    Default Asthma inhalers...

Should I have a separate risk assessment for a child starting with me that has asthma - in regards to storing her inhalers (need to be close by and not locked in a cupboard) or should this be added onto my general risk assessment for the setting? At the moment my risk assessment states that all medication is kept in a locked cupboard out of reach of the children - which obviously it won't be in this case. The little girl is under 2 and so not old enough to keep it in her pocket she has a spacer as well, so I will need to store it somewhere safe but accessible.

You should add an update to your stored medication RA... don't forget to consider how you will make sure inhalers are in date, spacer is washed properly etc.
