    Default Risk assessments

Hi, I'm quite new to minding and still unsure about quite a lot of things

Please can anyone advise whether I need to written risk assessment's for every time we leave the house. ie pick up from Nursery, go to the park, attend a toddler group, go to the supermarket etc.

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi Hilary don't worry we all had lots of questions when we first started and in fact still do! You have come to the right place.

I've moved your thread to the Risk Assessment section as you will get more replies there.

Yes, you need to do a risk assessment for each activity, but you don't need to write it each day. Just do one and then review it every so often, I do mine annually or if something major changes e.g. if there were roadworks along the walking route to nursery etc.

I'm sure you will get other advice too very soon
