    Default Building risk assessments

    Hi everyone,

We are having a kitchen extension built I don't know whether OFSTED require a risk assessment? . It doesn't affect the mindees as the builders tend to be outside anyway and all the work carried outside when the work move inside the house, it well be during the summer holiday which is I usually book my holiday. I don't know whether OFSTED require a risk assessment?
    any suggestion or tips please.

You do need to inform Ofsted and tell them what is happening, I sent a floor plan, when and how the mindees will be safe. You will then need to tell them when the work is complete so they can include it in your registration.

If it is a new kitchen you should prob inform your local Environmental Health Dept.
