    Default Risk Assessments

I have done all my genneral risk assessments for the home and regualr outings. I want to put together one for all table activities such as crafts/baking/cooking but I dont want to do one for each particular activity I just want an overall one. I have no idea where to start and I've got my inspection soon

Could anyone please share one with me or point me in the right direction please?

    Thanks

    Kirsty xx

I don't have one for each activity. I have a general one about using things like scissors, glue knives when cooking. How things used, are age appropriate, used with supervision and how things like glue, glitter, paints, scissors are stored safely.

There is nothing to say you have to RA an activity

Do your house/garden/car and outings and that will be enough for Ofsted. You automatically RA in your head for activities, otherwise you would never get a pair of scissors out!

When doing outings don't forget to state your ratio's as it asks for that in the EYFS Guidance

    Thanks for your replies.

I have a risk assessment for every room we use in the house, the garden, the car, my dog, walking, a general outings one and the park. I still need to write up one for playgroup and the library as they are the other outings we do on a regular basis. Most things are covered in my car/walking and general outings risk assessment but what about specific things when we actually get there? Obviously I'm constantly risk assessing things in my head but its so hard to put down on paper does anyone have any tips please?

I've asked at the playgroup for their risk assessment but they wouldnt give me it

    Thanks

I did a ra course and was told that it is a hse requirement that you need to keep all ra for 5 years. We were told to reduce Paperwork and scan them an put them on memory stick
Children are born with wings we help them to fly.
