    Hi all,

    Can you please help me i am having numerous calls for another school collection and thinking i may be able to get an assistant to do this school collection and bring the children to me. how do i go about this? i have found the person lol and she is willing so i need help on where to go now....Please help need to be sorted for september school starts

    There is a difference between the 2 registers - so depending on the age of the child the assistant might or might not be able to collect without you there.

    You should read the assistants info from Ofsted for more details.

    Your assistant will also need first aid, CRB (enhanced), permission from Ofsted and permission from child's parents and insurance.

    CRBs can take a month or 2, first aid depends on local courses, Ofsted can take a month or so once everything else is in place... so I wouldn't bank on anything being ready for Sept - maybe Christmas.

    I would check the registers and then ring Ofsted to make sure it's do-able. Then check timings for local paed first aid courses.
