Default No longer our assistant what now

We registered my brothers ex girlfriend (they were together at the time) as our assistant and it worked really well for us at the time. They have not had the best of break ups and we have now herd through a good friend that she has been telling people she is a registered childminder as we registered her with us. We are a little concerned she will do something stupid and it will come back on us.

Does any one know if we give ofsted a call they can remove her as an assistant or does it stay on there than?

i would as a kindness to her, before she does something silly, ask if she wants to deregister as an assistant to you and does she want to know what to do and say if she wants info on becoming a CM herself you will be happy to help as there is lots of paperwork and training courses to go through.

Then if she chooses to go ahead she will not be doing so ignorantly and will be responsible for her own actions.
if you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got
