DBS and assistant

I sent my EY2 forms off and have had a letter back with the info for applying for a DBS check-online application and verification of identity. My daughter had a DBS issued on the 20th March 2013 why have I got to get it done again? anyone else experienced this x

I don't know hoping someone can come along and explain it.

I thought for members of your family you didn't have to get them done again. But I do know that if you pay for the update service (13 a year) it becomes transferable between settings

Would it be worth querying it with Ofsted it may be a standard reply they have sent out.
