Hope you're all well and ready for the school hols!

I am taking on 2 apprentices from Sept and I need an idea of what to put in the job description / contract and what to put in my assistant policy

Anyone who has an apprentice or an assistant would you be able to help?

I'd be interested to know this as well. Are you taking on an apprentice through a college? Or just advertising for one? :-)

I'm taking on an apprentice shortly and asked the exact same questions as this.

After lots of research and help from a support pack our local council provide I have got pretty much everything in place.

I don't have an assistant policy, but have created a handbook for assistants with job description, code of conduct, information for assistants, grievances and disciplinary procedures.

You'll need to do an induction too, documenting this and training and their knowledge of your policies etc.
