Limit to the number of assistants ?

Is there a limit to how many assistants Ofsted allow you to have? I have my husband as one ( in an emergency) and then have one other but am worried that if she was ill I would have a problem so was thinking I need a back up? How many do people have approved by Ofsted? Or how many can you have registered to work with you ? Thanks

Think it's no more than two assistants can work with you at any one time as otherwise you become classed as a nursery. So think you could have three but they couldn't all work on the same days

Munch39 is right, I guess you can register as many as you want but only 2 can work at the same time with you.

I have my 2 sisters, my mum, hubby and 2 employed assistants so 7 altogether but only 2 of us are working at any time although sometimes the others pop in anyway
