    Default New assistant

Advice please, My Mum is thinking of being my assistant. Reading some threads on here, looks like a couple of months for her checks. Is she allowed to come with me for the school run and push a baby in the buggy, as I know I can't leave her home with them.

Alternatively, if she takes my son, that would leave me with 3 under fives!?!

I think as long as she's not left on her own that's fine

Sorry posted too soon, before my assistants checks came back she would come and help out but was always in my sight, this proved a good call as she was able to get to know the children and they with her so when her checks came back they all knew her including all my parents

Thanks for that. Do you know how long she can be left with them once registered?
