Mummy Laid an Egg!

I've recently bought a book called "Mummy Laid an Egg" by Babette Cole and I think it's great! It's basically all about where babies come from, but in a way that little 'uns will understand. I'd recommend it - some bits are very funny! Mum and Dad are explaining to the kids where babies come from - under stones, make them out of gingerbread, delivered by dinosaurs etc. The kids then tell the parents where babies come from, with cartoon pics of mummy and daddy 'fitting together' etc. Great

Sounds good - do you think it would be suitable for a 4 year old who is beginning to ask me difficult questions????

i've had this book for years for my own kids

did you know it was BANNED for a while

i have mummy got a house in her tummy, it explain that there is a baby in her belly, and some of pregnant woman behaviour ..but no mention of how he got there!!!!

my dd loved it
