Moving house book please!?

We have found out that we are 100% moving in April, we don't know where we will be going at the moment.

Could be 40 mins down the road (hopefully) or it could be the other side of the country! That's the army for you!

Anyway, I want a book about moving out of the area, changing schools etc.

I've got a first experiences one but it's not for what I want.

My 3 year old son is going to find it hard to leave pre-school, make new friends, settle in new house and village, understand we're not able to visit our current friends the same, etc and I want a book that will gently break this idea to him if you know what I mean.

Any suggestions?

Usbourne do one, I will see if I have it in my stock tonight and I can read it through and see if its what you want.

If not the library should have something to suit.

Angel - I'm not worried about the move if it's only 40 mins down the road as although we are in a different village and house we will still be able to see all of our friends and do things we normally do. If it's down in Hampshire or Kent though I will be so depressed!

Just worried about Benjamin and how he will handle it. He finds it good to have books about new situations so he can be introduced to the idea and situation and then we can talk a bit about it.

I think the first couple of weeks (if we move close by) I will spend as much time with him as I can at our old haunts so it isn't such a shock to him.

See how it goes!

Oh no! Sorry! There's nothing wrong with Kent! Some of my dad's family come from there and I've been there a few times with my old job etc!

It's just I like living in East Anglia and near my family and friends, I don't want to be far away from them that's all! Whoops!

No offence to anyone in Kent! Ha ha!
