PS There is a book by Beth Andrews on there called I miss You for childrens who's parents are in the foces on deployment which I think looks great xxxx

Thanks Susan - I'm going to look for the I Miss You one even if it's just useful for Benjamin - his dad's off later in the year and I know it will be really hard on him now he's older.

It's made me think about other books about missing people who've just gone away though and not died! Will have a look on Amazon. If anyone's got any suggestions for this would be grateful!

you got the wrong one then Lorri its the other one called i miss you .... put in author search for beth andrews and it should come up on that page !

there is some good books if you look about parents divorcing, working away etc xxx

Had a quick look but think it looks too old for Benjamin, he's only going to be 3 in April. What do you think Susan?

Can anyone else recommend anything else along these lines - parent going away for a while - missing you, etc.?
