I did it but not sure if it has worked or not as still see the message at the top of the page asking me to "click here for more information" etc.

When I went to reply to this thread I had to log in again. ???

This question needs to be added back into your profile since the upgrade. It is very easy to do and I have included a screenshot to help you.

Unless you add this answer you will receive error messages if you update your profile, change email address etc.

OK so ....

1. Click on your UserCP (left in the row of options below where you log in)
2. Click on "Edit details"
3. In the box that appears there are three things at the top, option to edit your email address, your date of birth and the special question.

4. Simply answer that question
5. Scroll down to the bottom and click SAVE

Simples

Note: New members cannot update profiles (this is to stop spammers adding disgusting website links to profiles) if you cannot add the answer, just let me know and I will add it for you.

Hi Pauline I cant do it after swearing at my laptop for about an hour i am none the wiser. I have done as you have instructed but cant find the box with the security code anywhere, i've checked every bit of my profile and thers nothing on the e-mail address and password section. Plus my

laptop only shows half the picture you have linked. Also everytime I go to a new page it tells me im not logged in, so I have now logged in for the hundreth time and still can do it. I am going to log out and come back tomorrow and try again but i would be very grateful if you could help.
