Default Help using forum please - newbie

Hi - My childminding friend Sammieanne joined the forum on Friday. Her first post saying hi showed up, but I've just spoken to her and it seems that when she opens a post they show up in the reverse order i.e. the first post/question/comment etc is at the end i.e the last post. Mine appears the other way round so I'm assuming mine is correct and hers wrong.

Any help appreciated. She's not very computer literate (sorry Sam!!!) so is struggling in any case!!!

Could it be that her membership has not been approved yet as if she posts something it can not be seen, also her name does not appear on the members list??

You can change the order of your posts in user CP... top left of the forum.

Edit option.... Thread display options... scroll down to Thread display mode... linear (oldest first).

Very new members don't appear on the member list, it was to stop spammers being listed with their horrible names.

Thanks Pauline. Hopefully over time I won't get a call every hour asking for me to talk her through opening posts etc!!! (Sorry Sam!)

Sarah thanks she's all sorted now and posts appear the right way round. She has been a member since Friday and her posts still say they need to be moderated before they show, is this correct. Sorry to be a real pain
