the adverts between each post? I really dont think they have because tonight is the first time I have noticed them but they are driving me barmey

I've never noticed them before between EVERY post. I though they were every few posts or so.

I think one is usually after the first 3 posts on a thread... but I might be wrong??

yes they have been there although anoyingly when you are reading through a post, but i suppose that is what is keeping the forum going with advertising

Maybe it's just that some are brighter than we're used to? I suppose some blend into the forum, but the bright red ones stand out a lot more.

I don't mind them, most forums and websites have some sort of advertising on nowadays, plus there are some good links to good sites.

I saw one advert on this forum the other day for wooden climbing frames, I clicked on it and am now thinking of getting one

I agree, I don't mind them at all and have clicked on some of them when i see something that interests me (so they do work).

Like I said before, I think it's the bright red one that stands out a lot...especially early on a Sunday morning when my eyes are a bit sensitive! The others blend in, that one shouts out at you
