Do you still send birthday cards?
Birthday cards are so expensive!!! As are stamps!
I know people are cutting down on sending Christmas cards for a variety of reasons, but do you still send birthday cards?
I'm cutting back, but not stopping completely. DD's friend (not a bestie) had a party the other week, but it was a good couple of weeks after her actual birthday, so we just took the present, and not a card to the party. DD makes animation things on the computer instead of cards for my nieces.
I found a birthday card for my BIL this morning but it was £3! It was nothing special. Managed to find a slightly cheaper one that I liked. I have another couple of cards to buy today too.
I used to absolutely love going to the newsagents and picking out cards for people as a child, and I loved receiving them too. I still do get a warm fuzzy feeling when I collect the post and see a few brightly coloured envelopes there, even if it's for people in a different flat!
Do you think birthday cards are becoming a thing of the past?
