I need to terminate a contract ASAP

Hi
As the title states 😫 I need to cancel a contract with a parent ASAP. Payments are never on time and I’m struggling with bills ect. If the parent doesn’t pay I refuse the care but then she pays and then I’m back to square one, always late collecting (even with late charges) it’s just getting worse.
I have a four week contract for notice but surly if parents don’t pay on time it’s a suitable excuse to end contract immediately?

I would contact your PLI and ask for advice.

Is it written anywhere in your policy or contract that you can give immediate notice for late payments?

I agree with Mouse: you must check with your insurer that you have sufficient grounds for immediate termination.

No you aren’t, you can give the full contractual notice (presumably four weeks) at any time.
