Good Bye and Thank you. XXX

I just wanted to post here to say Good Bye to everyone and thank you so much for all the support over the years. It has been blast on here with so many funny moments with Granny-Gate and glitter spray downstairs... that still makes me giggle!!!

Unfortunately in October I was at my Mother-in-Law's house (who is also a Childminder) having a child's Halloween party, I collapsed to floor and was rushed to hospital. I was in hospital for 8 days and told I had, had a Stroke. On the 4th December I had an additional small Stroke. I have concentrating on recovering over the last 6+ months and still not right and certainly in no position to care for young Children.

To be perfectly honest, Childcare was never something that called to me. It was an amazing business that allowed me to be home while my children were little. They are now 10 and 7 and I think I just got comfortable and feared change. What happened was awful and scary and I would not wish it on anyone, but it has given me a huge kick up the bum to make sure I live my life and not just exist doing something that isn't truly me.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in Childcare and will always offer my 100% support to this extremely over look and under valued profession. You are all amazing, keep up the good work xxx

I was just wondering how you were the other day - and how your MIL's inspection went, because you were saying she wasn't very good with paperwork.

Gosh, you've had a tough time. Please look after yourself, you always seemed to be doing a lot for other people. Come back and visit us and let us know how you are doing. x

Oh my goodness - how awful for you - and thank goodness you were with someone who could look after you. I am so sorry you have been so poorly and are having such a long road to recovery.
I started at the same time as you and remember so well some of the discussions in here. I really wish you the very best for your future and please pop on and keep in touch with how you get on, very best wishes xx
