My 2yr old mindee has learnt how to count to ten in French, and has taught us some french songs he has learnt during a holiday this summer...this is a huge WOW! so I'd love to record it in their LJ...but where??

If you want to put in an EYFS Area then common sense makes me think CL. Remember the statements are only a selection possible things a child might do in an Area, it is not a complete list of things children can learn. So we just catagorize as we feel fit, or don't catagorize at all and just celebrate the achievement for what it is and forget the headings!!
You can record in CL and KNW
