starting childminding in Wolverhampton

Hi
Im new to this forum, im currently on maternity leave and wanting to become a childminder, I have over 10 years working within childcare (nursery, and most recently as a child care training provider)
Is there anyone on here from wolverhampton area that could provide me with any info about starting up?
How long roughly does it take to get things going? I've been searching online for childminding coordinator for the area etc and not much luck.
My maternity leave is due to finish around April 2015 so realistically I think I need to start the process asap.

Hi, you need to contact Early Years to arrange a start up meeting...these are twice a year and I think the next one is March/April. The process is a lot different to when I started 15 years ago, they seem a lot more selective now!! If u want any more info message me x

Well I've emailed early years at wolverhampton council and just waiting on a reply.

got a reply and next course is in feb I have to complete a application form and include my start up costs to get going, I really don't know where to start!
