Hi, I'm pre-reg and after researching fees in my area, I'm going to charge £12 per day for before and after school kids xx
It really is up to individual childminders. Some charge a set fee like you are considering, other charges an hourly rate. It depends on number of hours, times and how many sessions per week and it's also worth considering if you need to drive a certain distance to school.
I do five pound an hour. I don't have a minimum. I know some childminders who charge £4 an hour but have a minimum of 2 hours a session.
My parents love me for this.
I look at it that if I charge hourly they will pick up asap but if they are paying for 2 hours they will use the 2 hours
£8 before school anytime drop from 7.30am and £11 after school until 6pm includes breakfast/cooked tea
