I was going to do some crafts/activities related to valentines and so far have thought of biscuits and cards. Any other ideas? I have a 3,6, 9 year old so a something that can be adapted for everyone? Xx

I'm new to all this so excuse my suggestion if not very good (lol).
How about a hand print painting - I'm sure if you manage to get them to place their hands just right, it can look like a heart shape. Perhaps you could do pink one hand and red the other - one side =mum, other = dad and middle overlap = mindee?
I am doing a Valentine wreath.
Paper plates with a red love heart in the middle then we are glueing petals all around the edge.
I'm not bothering I'm afraid I've only got a 2 x 2 yr and a 7m next week and both the 2y parents don't even look at art work am fed up with finding it screwed up in bottom of buggies :( got 2 playgroups weds so they may do something there x
Fab ideas xx I thought about cookies or clay hearts to take home for a gift... coukd do card to go along side x just been to the range and stocked up on craft bit xx
THANKS xxxx
To me Valentines day is for 'Romantic Love'.
So I don't think it is appropriate to celebrate with LO's.
Some things have to stay sacred for older folk.
I am also anti the hype that the card and florist companies encourage, with ever more expensive gifts being required and not the token letter that it originally started with in Chaucer's time in the 15th Century.
I am a big grumble groats when it comes to commercialism!
I'm afraid I agree with FloraDora, I won't be doing anything for Valentines with lo's either!
Any excuse to bake cookies here, however I won't be doing anything this year as DH and I are off to Liverpool for a lovely long weekend - we've got tickets to see Ghost the musical on Friday and really looking forward to it! :D
I don't do valentine with little ones either but I thought I'd tie the heart idea up with British Heart Foundation stuff I have and do something about loving your own heart and taking care of it. I have made salt dough hearts but will use these for Mothers day I think
Valentines day is my birthday so your mindees could all make me pressies. I like cakes lol. ;)
I am covering shapes at the moment so this week we are doing hearts. Jelly, cakes, card lacing, colours, biscuits and lastly for our lunch on Friday heart shaped sandwiches. We did flowers today and they loved making them - we may do some strawberry ones too :)
