That is lovely, unfortunately in some ways for us as our garden is only small my freakish keep it clean and tidy wouldnt allow such stuff in the garden, will save this for our trips to the woods!
Reminds me of a trip to our local woods, which happened as we were doing an alphabet hunt on the estate and we stopped when we got to the woods, to make silver birch bark hats and decorate them with ferns it all came about because one of the little ones put the circular bark on his head and it fitted a treat, so we all made them!
what a lovely idea and some great artwork
Thats great!
My DD had to study an artist for her GCSE coursework and chose Andy Goldsworthy - google him, someone to aspire to for natual/manmade sculptures.
We spent a day in the woods making fantastic sculptures and she photographed them for her photography work too.
We have our own wood on the farm so can't wait to get out there when it dries up a bit
Happy to be back with the Greenies
Very artistic.... well done,
Something we do often is make a " crown" from a wide band of card and cover the whole thing in double sided tape , then when we are on a walk about in the park for example the children find allsorts to stick on their hats, ( leaves, flowers, twigs etc) its great fun and some wonderful creations are made .
