    Default Hand print tree

    My cm friends have done an autumn tree in their playrooms by getting using handprints of the children as leaves looks amazin anyone wants a picture I can send it

    We have done one in the past where I drew round my arm for the trunk, the children's arms for the branches and then did handprints in autumn colours for leaves - we used ripped up magazine pieces (hard to find enough brown though) for the trunk, then they painted the branches and did paint handprints for leaves - we have on another occasion done potato printing for leaves (just cut grooves for the veins of leaves in the potato).

    Thanks for jogging my memory - haven't done that with the little ones, ideal for a wet Wednesday!

    Is it on the window or a large piece of paper? Lovely idea.! If you press the plus sign at the top of your post you should be able to add the pic to your post

    We have done the leaf handprints so far hope to complete this week

    I've got one like this in my hallway. I change it each season. I also use the trunk of it as a height chart.

    Love the handprint tree

    We did fingerprint leaves cut them out and stuck them onto a small branch it looked quite sweet
