Big leaf small leaf

This month for the 2 year olds my topic is big and small. I'm thinking of ways to teach them what big and small is. I got 2 containers, one with big leaves and one with small leaves in. They glued them down with pritt stick. We finished and I wondered if they understood anything. Next thing you know my son made a "big" block out of lego and bought it to me saying BIG.
