    Default Earth Day pictures

    Hi

Just wanted to share our Earth Day pictures. My lo's are all 18mths and everything goes in their mouths , making crafts etc very difficult. Anyway someone suggested 'cling film painting' . So I decided to have a go and this was the result. Quite pleased with them

    Thnk you.

Get some paper/card, squirt blobs of paint at random on the paper. Wrap clingfilm around the paper , overlap at the back. The children rub their hands over the paint smudging it without getting dirty or messy and without risking them eating the paint (like my lo's do) when finished remove cling film , aloow to dry the either leave as it is or in my case we cut a circle to represent the Earth. Fab and the children love it and I dont have to worry about paint going in thier mouths or trying to stop 3 children at once from eating the paint lol x

Thanks for showing us they are lovely.

I use pocket sleeves (for folders) and cellotape the ends.

    Must do it next week

I found this on the internet and used it with our pics.

    OUR EARTH

The Earth is ours to enjoy
For every little girl and boy.
But we must always be aware
That all its beauty we must share.
With all the children yet to come
Who want to laugh and play and run .
Around the trees and in the fields.
So we must keep our planet free
    From messy trash and debris
With air that's clean and fresh and clear
For all to breathe from year to year.
    We must never ever abuse
Our sweet Earth that's ours to use.

    They are amazing!

Can you explain me more how you did it?
I would like to know the exact method, step-by-step.
Ok I saw a similar works but I never know how to prepare.

To me the second one is more sympatic, but the first one is good too.
    Congrat!

    Lightbulb Earth Day Craft

    Hi Ladies
I've not posted for absolutely ages, probably since the 30% off Hope resources ( long time members might remember) fiasco.
Just remembered an old post from last year for Earth Day, so just bumping it up.

    Now here's a surprise, I have a question!!

How do you remove the clingfilm without smudging the work? Or doesn't it matter?

Um, and when is Earth Day?
