    Default 2 year check

If you have a 2 year old start with you at the age of 2 years and 7 months for 2 hours per week every two weeks term time only do you still have to carry out a 2 year check? X

Do they attend any other setting, or just your's?

If you read the guidelines, particularly point 4.3, it does say you should wait until you have a good knowledge of the child before you complete the check. You have until they are 3 to do it, so I would wait until nearer then, when you feel you have got to know the child. I would say you still have to do one though as it is a legal requirement.

I guess so unless they are already attending Nursery for more hours than with you (but could hardly be less hours could it!). I would just use your starting points on a Unique Child form as you will hardly have had the child 10 hours by the time they are three.
