    Default Ending contract?

    Hi,
I'm in the middle of writing out my letter to terminate a contract as I've decided I no longer want to childmind. The little boy's Dad isn't working at the moment so really no childcare is needed therefore instead of giving 4 weeks notice as per contract parents and I decided to end in 2 weeks, is this allowed? Both parties are happy but do I still have to work the 4 weeks as its what contract states? Just don't want to end up in trouble!

    Thanks

No, if all parties are agreed, the contract can be dissolved. and you can have whatever terms you agree

Sorry to hear it hasn't worked out for you. And I hope your change of direction makes you happy

I agree with Koala. Just be sure that you get the client to sign agreeing to terminate with the date clearly stated in writing.
